It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Ole M. Frederiksen, who peacefully passed away on the morning of Wednesday the 30th April 2025.

With his passing, Denmark has lost a prominent figure – a legend in the world of sports business – a pioneer who left a lasting mark on sports marketing in Denmark. He was the first to work professionally in the field.

In the late 1960s, Ole founded f. reklame and later f Sports Group together with his son, Mads H. Frederiksen. Through his work, he combined creativity, strategy, and passion in a way that inspired colleagues, clients, and partners. He was a visionary, uncompromising in his pursuit of quality, and known for his ability to bring even the wildest ideas to life. He brought some of the world’s greatest sports stars to Denmark – particularly in tennis, cycling, boxing, and football.

Through f. reklame and f Sports Group, Ole played a central role in strengthening the bond between sports and business in Denmark and internationally. He understood the power of sports as a platform for identity, community, and communication – and he used it to create lasting results and relationships.

But Ole was much more than his profession. He was someone you noticed – with his humor, energy, and genuine interest in the people he met along the way. He had a rare ability to combine business with warmth and presence. He was always good for a story, an anecdote, and a hearty laugh.

Ole leaves behind family, friends, and a professional network who will miss him deeply. His legacy is invaluable, and words fall short when trying to express Ole’s impact on so many people. Many will remember him as a passionate soul and a driving force – someone who never compromised on what he believed in.

The memories of the world’s best Ole will stay with us forever, always cherished in our hearts.
